Warranty Policy
Last updated: August 2026
1. Manufacturer Warranty
Every generator and control system we sell is new and carries the manufacturer's standard warranty. Exact warranty terms — coverage period, what's included, and any conditions — vary by model, so we confirm the specific terms for your unit before you order. See the Warranty details on each product page, or contact us to confirm coverage for a specific model.
2. What's Covered
Manufacturer warranties on our generators typically cover defects in materials and workmanship under normal use, for the period and on the terms set by the manufacturer. Warranty claims are handled in coordination with the manufacturer's South African support channels.
3. What's Not Covered
Manufacturer warranties generally exclude damage from improper installation, misuse, lack of routine maintenance, unauthorised modification, or normal wear items (filters, belts, etc.). Installation is not included in our listed prices — see our FAQ for details.
4. Making a Warranty Claim
If you believe your unit has a defect covered by warranty, contact us with your order reference, a description of the issue, and photos or video if possible. We'll confirm next steps — repair, replacement, or manufacturer callout — based on the applicable warranty terms.
Products found to be defective on delivery are repaired, replaced, or refunded in line with the applicable manufacturer warranty and South African consumer protection law — see our Returns & Cancellations Policy for how this interacts with returns.
