Are you a registered business?
Yes. Elohim Generator is a VAT and CIPC registered South African business (VAT No. 9917795180, CIPC Reg No. 2021/118341/05), based at 15 Silson Way, Rhodesdene, Kimberley, 8301.
Does submitting an order online charge me?
Yes — orders placed through our checkout are paid via PayFast at the time of purchase. If you'd rather confirm pricing and availability first without paying, use the Request a Quote form instead.
How do I pay for my order?
Securely through PayFast as part of checkout — by card, EFT, or another method PayFast supports. You'll receive an emailed confirmation with your order reference once payment is complete.
What's the difference between the prime and standby power rating?
The standby rating is the maximum power a generator can supply during a utility outage, for the duration of the outage, with no planned load increase. The prime rating is the maximum continuous power it can supply as a primary power source. For backup power during load-shedding or grid outages, the standby rating is what matters most.
Do you deliver nationwide?
Yes, nationwide delivery across South Africa is available, and collection from our Kimberley facility can also be arranged. Delivery cost and lead time are quoted individually based on the unit's size, weight, and your location — see our Shipping Policy for details.
Can I cancel or return an order?
A Request a Quote submission isn't a payment and can be cancelled any time at no charge. Once an order is placed and paid for at checkout, you have 14 days from delivery to return it if unused and in original packaging (return shipping is at your cost). Built-to-order industrial units are handled case-by-case — see our Return Policy and Refund Policy for full details.
Is installation included in the price?
Installation is not included in the listed price. We can put you in touch with installers, or your own electrician can complete the installation and connection to your distribution board or automatic transfer switch.
Do your generators come with a warranty?
Yes, all products include a manufacturer warranty. Exact terms vary by model — see the Warranty details on each product page, or contact us to confirm coverage for a specific unit.
